Delivery Of Your Order


After purchasing your order we try to make your delivery as simple as possible. There are a few guidelines we would like to make you aware of.


All our goods are in stock, with the exception of the Excelsior and Dynasty mattresses which are hand make to order. We will therefore dispatch your goods, normally within twenty four hours of payment.


On dispatch we will send you an e-mail containing your receipt, your dispatch number and the date to expect your goods. As the courier company will only commit to 9 am./ 6 pm. We cannot give exact times. We can track your goods for you on the given day from lunchtime onwards, should you request.


PLEASE ENSURE THERE IS SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO RECEIVE AND SIGN FOR YOUR GOODS. THERE IS A £10 FAILED DELIVERY CHARGE EACH TIME A DELIVERY IS ATTEMPTED.


You may instruct us to deliver the goods to a friend or neighbour or leave in your porch for example. But please remember we cannot be held responsible for an unsigned delivery.


Our preferred currier company ‘Nightfreight Couriers’ do not deliver on Saturdays. Their one man delivery (in line with nearly all other couriers) are only contracted to your front door. This we are told is due to insurance and also health and safety issues.


On the whole our customer feedback indicates a general friendliness and helpfulness from the drivers especially at the mention of a quick cup of tea. But this front door rule is unfortunately at the discretion of the driver.


If you have a very awkward delivery point please give us a call and we will try to help out. There may be other options you prefer, for example a two man delivery/assembly team. But of course this will be more expensive and will take much longer to arrange.


On receipt of your goods please check before signing; The number of items correspond to the delivery note and the packaging is not damaged or torn. If for example there is a carton missing or obvious damage to the packaging, ….. Please sign the delivery note as part order/ damaged goods or parcel.


You may also refuse any parcel that shows obvious damage to contents. I’m happy to report that this is a very rare occurrence and defective goods will be replaced promptly.
